Log cabin portion

Here is your opportunity to own some history—a classic renovated and predominantly new home which incorporates a 2-story log home as the family room and upstairs bedrooms. This cabin portion was built in 1810 by early Indiana pioneer, gunsmith, and cabinet-maker Robert Bartley. Visitors here included neighbor Squire Boone, his brother Daniel Boone, President William Henry Harrison and many other prominent people in early Indiana history. The residence was in the Bartley and Boone families from 1810 until 1998, when the Webers acquired and renovated the home.
This is your chance to own not only this home and 15.7 acres, but is also an opportunity to buy tracts ranging from 23 to 32.6 acres, or the entire 101 acres.
The rich farm land is in an ideal location in Boone Township near the Laconia Bend of the Ohio River in Southern Harrison County, away from population and commerce. In this pastoral setting, you may hear crickets, frogs, and an occasional dove or quail calling for its mate. There may be a rooster crowing, a horse neighing, or maybe just your dog barking because the zucchini in the garden are growing so fast. Not to mention the happy sounds of your children or grandchildren.
The James G. Weber Revocable Trust is selling home and land, which was their weekend retreat from town and a place to unwind while growing a garden and entertaining friends. Here you can enjoy the serene undisturbed beauty of nature in every season. The sale of timber produces income each decade, along with annual revenue from farm crops.
