- Since 1982, the RE/MAX Team has conducted the Kentuckiana Real Estate Exchange Auction selling properties all across Kentucky and Indiana.
- Two to four times each year, we aggregate properties from Kentucky and Indiana sellers and auction those properties in a hotel meeting room.
- Each seller pays a small contribution to a pooled advertising fund.
- Individual open houses, or previews, are held at each property, but the actual auction event is held in one place.
- A computer-generated presentation describing each property is conducted prior to the auction.
- Bidders may choose from a large inventory which may include residential, commercial and investment properties, schools, churches, factories, or land and lots.
- It is not unusual for a buyer to come for one property but buy a different property or multiple properties.
- Significant savings are realized, by sellers, from the shared advertising budget.
